The Taste: Watch Previews of Brian Malarkey and Anthony Bourdain’s New ABC Show
The Taste features British food maven Nigella Lawson, restaurateur Brian Malarkey, author & chef Ludo Lefebvre and Anthony Bourdain, writer/traveler, star of “No Reservations” and “The Layover”. These four will coach a team of four amateur and pro cooks via a blind taste test of one spoon, the contestants will either be sent to the top or be booted off. The Taste smacks a bit of The Voice, but with culinary talent instead of vocal, mashing buzzers and judging blindly. I never thought I’d see the day when Bourdain does a show like this but it should be interesting. The Taste debuts Tuesday January 22nd 2012 on ABC.
