Hash House A Go Go Review
Hash House A Go Go is a one of a kind. Mention this name to anyone in San Diego and then instantly display a huge grin. They are known for outrageous portions of farm style dishes with their trademark huge rosemary stalk jammed into the top of virtually every dish. Today we are reviewing the Roasted Chicken, Garlic, Asparagus & Rosemary House Hash. It’s simply amazing. If you think the ingredients in the name of this dish sound good, there’s more. Along with the flavorful shredded roasted garlic chicken and asparagus you receive a healthy portion of crispy potatoes, 2 fried eggs, a biscuit and seasonal fruit (cantaloupe on this trip, but sometimes watermelon). Don’t forget to ask for honey and butter to slather on your biscuit! This dish is served in a giant cast iron skillet. A perfect drink pairing for this meal is the Hash House’s famous $1 PBR can. This is a meal fit for sharing, unless you have a hunger like Chris Farley, “Lay off me I’m Starving!”
